Femininity has been lacking in traditional Western astrology ever since the first astrologers started connecting the heavens with our everyday lives. There are only 2 female representatives amongst the planetary Pantheon: Venus and the Moon.
This has been substantially “rectified” when a number of asteroids have been included in the astrology wheel, thereby diversifying the colour palate of the personality portrait that it paints.
1. Venus (Aphrodite)
2. Moon/Luna (Selene)*
1. Ceres (Demeter)
2. Pallas (Athena)
3. Juno (Hera)
Feminine Energy in Astrology
There is one more significant representation of the feminine energy in astrology which is not a planet, nor an asteroid. It is actually a mathematically calculated point. This point represents the Moon’s farthest point in orbit as it relates to the time of your birth. This point is called Black Moon or Lilith.
We all have a representation of each of these Goddesses as they are situated somewhere in our birth charts and speak to us in a unique way. The sensuality of Venus and the nurturing of Luna are present in each of us even if obscured and hidden at times.
Join us in revealing these heroines and embracing their archetypes as they appear in our psyche.
